Pakistan Beats Hong Kong and Qualify to Super Four in Asia Cup 2022-Shadab Khan dedicates victory to Pakistan flood affectees

KARACHI: Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has dedicated the national team's record-breaking win over Hong Kong in the T20 Asia Cup 2022 to the flood-affected people of Pakistan.
Pakistan secured a 155-run win over Hong Kong to qualify for the Super Four at the Asian event on Friday thanks to a destructive batting and bowling performance. Half-centuries from Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman and 35 runs from Khushdil Shah helped Pakistan post 193 runs on the scoreboard before the Green Shirts bowlers bowled out Hong Kong for just 38 runs. Shadab also claimed four wickets and gave away only eight runs in 2.4 overs. Shadab took to Twitter to dedicate the massive victory to the afflicted and urged the privileged to help those in need. "This win is dedicated to all those affected by #FloodsInPakistan. We are playing for our people. You are all in our hearts. Anyone who can help please donate to flood relief funds across the country. Apne logoon ki madad kerein," Shadab wrote. It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan has joined India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in the super four of the Asian competition. The Green Shirts will once again take on arch-rivals India at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
